Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective: March 24, 2026.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all subscription plans and purchases made through Octofocus ("we", "us", or "our"), a subscription-based meditation and mindfulness service operated by QuantLab Inc. This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Subscription Plans

Octofocus offers subscription-based access to meditation sessions and mindfulness content on a monthly or annual basis ("Subscription"). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.

2. Free Trials

If you signed up for a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your trial will automatically convert into a paid Subscription, and you will be charged the applicable Subscription fee.

3. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You may cancel your Subscription at any time through one of the following methods:

Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Products and Services until the end of the period you have already paid for.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 General Rule

Because Octofocus provides immediate access to digital content (meditation sessions, mindfulness exercises, and related features) upon subscription, refunds are generally not available for partial subscription periods once access has been granted.

4.2 Exceptions — When Refunds May Be Granted

We understand that certain circumstances may warrant a refund. We will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following situations:

(a) Duplicate or Erroneous Charges. If you were charged more than once for the same Subscription period, or if an incorrect amount was charged, we will issue a full refund for the duplicate or excess amount.

(b) Service Not Provided. If you were charged but were unable to access the Products or Services due to a technical issue on our side, and the issue was not resolved within a reasonable time, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

(c) Requests Within 14 Days of Initial Purchase. If you purchased a Subscription for the first time and request a refund within 14 days of the initial purchase date, we may grant a refund provided that you have not substantially used the Products or Services. Substantial use means having completed more than 3 meditation sessions or having accessed premium content on more than 5 separate days.

(d) Unauthorized Transactions. If you believe a charge was made without your authorization, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and, if confirmed, issue a full refund.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

6. Paddle as Our Payment Provider

All payments are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. In some cases, refunds may be subject to Paddle's processing policies. The charge on your bank or credit card statement will appear from Paddle.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Products or Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
