Frequently Asked Questions

How does this practice work?

Each body part on the silhouette will be highlighted in order. Classify the sensation you feel in that area using one of four buttons.

What ability does this training build?

It trains your ability to direct attention sequentially to each part of the body and notice the connection between physical sensation and mental state. It also improves body awareness — the ability to detect and release tension.

Why does noticing bodily sensations matter?

Stress and tension accumulate in the body first, but we often notice them only after the fact. Training attentiveness to bodily signals helps you detect these cues earlier and release them more naturally.

How can I get the most out of this practice?

Instead of searching for a particular sensation, gently place your attention on each area and classify whatever you find. 'Neutral' or 'uncertain' are just as valid as any other response.
